  I agree with this completely and I love this scene for exactly that.  Although the gun safety advocate in me would like to point out that Sherlock should not have had his finger on the trigger.  Because even with no intention to shoot he could have easily killed his best friend- and that drives me a bit nuts.  But the intent in that scene is there and that’s what I’m choosing to focus on – because hello trust.  (Have I mentioned how much I love you recently?)
