They leaned against the wall, breathing heavily. They looked at each other, John holding onto Sherlock’s sleeve.

Or Martin just did that in the heat of the moment and nobody noticed and then when everything was done and they were watching the final version of the episode Moffat noticed it and shouted out “Wait! What was that?! Rewind it!” but Gatiss was just like “SHHHHHH”.
