I really, really love it when people put Pokemon into the real world.

THIS IS MAKING ME SAD.

He woke up with a piercing pain in leg, every nerve ending telling him that he was injured, and down for the count. Gasping for breath, John Watson tried to look frantically for Ham, his Growlithe from med school. The fire Pokemon was trained to go get help, but John would feel guilt on his deathbed if any harm came to his Pokemon as the loyal companion tried to save him. They had trained together in the Army, done all their field work side by side, and they had become fast and loyal friends.

As John closed his eyes, he mourned for Ham, he did not deserve to die a war where he did nothing to start it, no real reason to join it besides doing what John asked him to. To John, his Ham would always be that bundle of energy, puffing out little embers and singing band aids. Closing his eyes from the pain, the medic sent up one last prayer. “Oh god,” He gasped “Please let me live. Please god.”

That was when, in the mists of gunfire and grenades, a mighty roar echoed through the battlefield, coming closer to the wounded medic. Men from both sides of the field stopped when they say the Fire Pokemon blow up a turret on the enemies side due to Fire Fang.

“H-ham.” John Watson breathed out as he could see orange fur run through the guns, the grenades, to him. John tried to move his body, to tell his pup to run away before he got shot, but it was no use. Blacking out at last, free from the pain, his last thought was the warmth that engulfed him, protecting him.

😀 awesome!
