At some point in your writing career, you’re going to be told, “Don’t use the word ‘said’ when you’re writing.” Which is a terrible piece of advice even though I agree with it to a large extent.
So let’s have little talk about the word “said,” why it gets such a bad rep in the literary world, and how you should use it.
He said, she said, we said, STOP SAYING “SAID”
