Happy Bones Time

#all i want is happy bones #because you know what #people ignore it#but this man was very rarely happy#in the epsiode for the world is hollow and i have touched the sky#he talks about having the chance to be happy for the first time#not for the first time in a long time #the FIRST TIME #in star trek v#sybok talks about how mccoy’s pain is the deepest of all #and#basically everything we know about his personal background is tragic#and i love this character more than any other character ever#so these moments are the best #the happy mccoy moments#it was lovely to see how happy his friendship with kirk and spock made him#especially as they got older it seems#his smiles in TOS brightened up entire episodes#but i really love that he started smiling more in the film franchise#he smiled so much in the voyage home#and there were so many sarcastic smiles in the final frontier#the brightest smile ever in the episode journey to babel#when amanda told him about spock’s sehlat #i love that smile#all mccoy smiles are good smiles#de had the best and sweetest smile i’ve ever seen#i’m glad we got to see it on mccoy#i’m glad we got to see such a sad man have happy moments #leonard mccoy#tos mccoy -(via)
