I love everyone in this bar. At this point I’m waiting for the selfie of Tony and Vladimir Tarasenko.

But seriously, there’s something…sweet about all this, and it speaks to how social media can be a force for joy. Dude discovers hockey, proclaims that it is LIT, tweets about it. His local team sees it and is all, “Hey, this guy loves the thing that we do and also love! He should come see us do it and have fun! Let’s give him a ticket!”

I mean, of course there’s an economic motive for the team to encourage new fans and get positive social media attention, but you can’t tell me that whoever runs their Twitter wasn’t just grinning in his office and going “Check out this guy! WE GOTTA GIVE HIM A TICKET.”
