I was surprised no one brought up the theory that Mrs. Hudson’s evil husband might be the Hudson from Gloria Scott. I think it’s mentioned in the Baring-Gould annotated editions. Perhaps that is how ACD Mrs. Hudson and Sherlock met? And perhaps this means that BBC Victor Trevor is from Florida?
