Winglock was requested. I tried something serious— this came out instead.
Finished version of my contribution to the Letsdrawsherlock project. Finished just in time, though I really had to rush the trousers and the coat… I kinda hate that part of the drawing, but oh well…
The original is “Lament for Icarus” by Herbert James Draper. I thought that the figure of Icarus went well with the portrayal of Sherlock in the BBC Series. Also I really wanted to draw wings:D

I decided that it’s just going to be John and Sherlock, but I’m unsure about the background: London skyline in the bg (with Houses of Parliament, London Eye) or St. Bart’s… Any recommendations?
